HHCC members made the most of having the lawn all day on Saturday 3rd September with four games of Golf Croquet and one of Association.
At various times of the day, Steve, Katherine, Liz, Rita, Sue, Nick, Robin and Celia all enjoyed the sunny weather. Some of us had lunch and most of us enjoyed homemade cakes baked by Sue and Liz.
As ever there were questions from passers by and Sue gave details to four potential new members.
On Friday 2 May Hampstead Heath Croquet Club offered members the chance to develop their skills and tactics in playing Association Croquet.
Informal coaching (and encouragement) was provided by playing Hi-Low doubles, competing for 6 hoops (14 points), by which a more experienced player was able to guide someone less experienced, and, in one case, someone new to the format.
